What is an IBCLC and how can you help me?

An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a skilled healthcare professional whose focus includes all aspects of lactation, breastfeeding, and infant feeding. An IBCLC represents the highest standard in lactation expertise.
During your consultation, we will discuss your specific concerns and explore customized solutions tailored to your needs and specific feeding goals. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your infant feeding goals by utilizing personalized, in-person or virtual prenatal/postpartum education, support, and ongoing guidance for all feeding challenges.

Initial Lactation Consultation
90-120 mins
House Call *$200
Each appointment is tailored to meet your unique needs and typically includes:

Discuss your concerns

Comprehensive breast and infant oral examination

Observe and evaluation of feeding techniques

Weighted pre/post feeds to assess milk transfer

Education on positioning and latch

Assessment of input and output

Create a care plan together

​This session allows you to ask all of your questions and receive personalized support to meet your goals and increase your feelings of successfully feeding your baby. Your consultant will offer education, resources, and a tailored care plan, along with ongoing assistance throughout your breastfeeding, lactation and feeding journey.​
A travel fee of $50 will be charged for all House Call appointments, with a variable fee for locations outside the 98604 zip code.

Follow-Up Consultation

The follow-up appointment typically includes:

Telehealth Virtual Office Consultation
Initial Visit $175
Follow-up $150
Mini Follow-up 30 min/$75
Telehealth appointments occur on a secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platform to safeguard your privacy. They typically follow the same format as a House Call and Follow-Up appointment, concentrating on observation and shared information. While in-person visits may provide additional level of details, clients and I have found these virtual sessions to be both successful and enjoyable.
